Annual Appeal

Gifts to the National Museum of Play’s Annual Appeal help support important programs that enable some of our community’s neediest children and families to visit the museum and have safe, rewarding, memorable experiences together.

Community programs supported by the Annual Appeal:

• Passport to Family Fun, which provides general museum admission to financially challenged families through partnerships with more than 25 community agencies that provide critical family support services;
• Foster Family Admissions, which  provides general museum admission to every foster family throughout an 11-county region in collaboration with Foster Adoption Network, a network of 18 community agencies that facilitate the foster/adoption process; and
• Summer SUN (Strong’s Urban Neighborhoods), which brings nearly 2,000 children ages 3-12 from more than 40 urban community centers and agencies to the museum for visits each summer.
• Play Therapy Access Program, which allows more than 400 physical, occupational, and behavioral therapists to bring their child clients to the museum free of charge to practice therapies.
