Fellowship recipient Danielle Almeida, professor at the Federal University of Paraíba in Brazil, visits The Strong to examine the role of toys in cultural identity.
More than 650 guests, along with honorary co-chairs the Constanza Family and sponsors, raise more than $285,000 at the Play Ball fundraising gala in support of The Strong’s educational mission and outreach programs. 
Students in the "History of Video Games" class at Catawba College in North Carolina visit The Strong's Brian Sutton-Smith Library and Archives of Play to research topics about electronic games.
